Sky: Donnarumma suffers training injury ahead of Arsenal

AC Milan play Arsenal in the return leg of Europa Leaggue round of 16. The Rossoneri need the all the help they can get and certainly the presence of Gigio is a must.

Sky Sports reveals that Gigio left Milanello with his right hand bandaged. In today’s training he has suffered a small injury to a finger but apparently the situation doesn’t seem serious. The presence of Donnarumma in the Rossoneri starting lineup does not seem to be in doubt at the moment. Further tests will certainly be carried tomorrow to properly assess the injury gravity.

At the moment optimism surrounds the condition of the 19 year old goalkeeper from Campania. Surprises excluded, he will defend the goal of Gennaro Gattuso’s team in Arsenal-Milan on Thursday evening in London. In the unfortunate hypothesis of a forfeit, for now not contemplated, there would be a possible run-off between Antonio Donnarumma and veteran Marco Storari. This season Gigio has missed only one match due to injury, the Cup derby against Inter.
