AC Milan kick-start their Europa League campaign with a narrow win against Dudelange thanks to goal by Gonzalo Higuain in the second half.
After two positive appearances in the final minutes against Roma and Cagliari, Samu Castillejo made his first minute start against Dudelange in Europa League. The Spanish right winger provided the assist on Higuain’s goal and served his teammates on several occasions, especially the Argentine and Borini. At the end of the game Castillejo was interviewed by Sky Sports.
On the match: “In Europe there no easy games, the opponents had a great desire to play well in their European debut. It was not easy but we won three important points”.
