Dudelange-Milan, Gattuso changes nine players

It’s the big day of Dudelange-Milan. Tonight, at 21:00, the Rossoneri make their Europa League debut in Group F.

For tonight’s Europa League debut against Dudelange, Rino Gattuso aims to revolutionize his Milan and confirms only two regular starters, that is Alessio Romagnoli in defense and Gonzalo Higuain in attack. For the rest, space to those who have featured less and even those who have not played a single minute this season like Pepe Reina, Caldara, Bertolacci and Jose Mauri. As Tuttosport reports this morning, the biggest curiosity is that in the Milanese starting eleven will be present all five summer purchases that were concluded after the arrival of Elliott.

Meaning Caldara, Laxalt, Bakayoko, Castillejo and Higuain. If El Pipita is a guarantee and Laxalt has already shown good things in those few minutes he has been on the pitch, there is great expectation for the other three. The specially observed will certainly be the young central defender, who arrived at Milanello in exchange for Leonardo Bonucci.

Tonight he will make his official debut with the Red and Black jersey and will play alongside Romagnoli. The former Atalanta will have to demonstrate that he has assimilated at best the mechanisms of a four man defense and that he’s ready to play in Serie A. Dudelange is his first test.

Eyes on, then, also on Tiemoue Bakayoko and Samu Castillejo. The French midfielder has yet to familiarize with Italian football and also improve from a tactical point of view, while the Spaniard, after the good impressions against Cagliari and Roma, wants to prove that he’s not just a viable alternative to Suso and Calhanoglu but rather a starting eleven player.

AC MILAN (4-3-3):PepeReina; Abate, Caldara, Romagnoli, Laxalt; Bakayoko, Mauri, Bertolacci; Borini, Higuain, Castillejo.
