Europa League: Three players scouted by Milan

Marco Fassone and Massimiliano Mirabelli continue the intensive scouting work observing interesting profiles that could be very useful to AC Milan for next season.

AC Milan’s scouts were very busy in yesterday’s European evening, observing closely two games involving other Italian teams. According to Calciomercato.com reports, sports director Mirabelli had sent his collaborators both at the San Paolo for Napoli-RB Leipzig, and at Dortmund for the Borussia-Atalanta match. According to the latest rumors the Rossoneri scouts were monitoring three players yesterday.

In Napoli, eyes were focused on a RB Leipzig talent who has long been linked with the Rossoneri club. The 19 year old French defender Dayot Upamecano is one of the most promising talents in Germany. He is a tough stopper and despite his young age a pillar of the Germans and the French Under 19 national team. A possible purchase for the future, but already an important player of international pedigree.

The two others are huge profile players of Borussia Dortmund. AC Milan are highly interested on 22 year old central midfielder Julian Weigl, German regista already part of the national team. An agile and technically very strong midfielder.

The other special target was Marco Reus, the flamboyant left winger of Borussia Dortmund and one of the biggest names in world football. A real champion and for now very faithful to the black and yellow colors. But Puma can change everything: the new technical sponsor of AC Milan is also the official sponsor of both Weigl and Reus and could give a hand to the Rossoneri for the eventual future negotiations.
