Falk (BILD): “Rangnick at Milan? Here is the truth “

BILD journalist Christian Falk reports that AC Milan and Ralf Rangnick have yet to reach an agreement but are still in touch.

At the beginning of the season few could have guessed that Milan would fire Marco Giampaolo after just 7 games, that Pioli would take his place just for the remaining of the season and that within one year the Rossoneri would appoint a new coach.

The number one pick to succeed Stefano Pioli is without a doubt Ralf Rangnick. But will he join AC Milan or not? The scenario is not clear, even if some sources claim that his arrival at Milan is certain and that the German is already planning the summer transfer campaign.

Christian Falk, journalist for the German newspaper BILD (via MilanLive.it), offered new updates on the situation of Rangnick. “The parties are still discussing but no decision has been made yet. They’re still in touch. You cannot know what will happen. Maybe they will find a solution. But Rangnick has very high demands“.

Falk explains that Milan and Rangnick are still negotiating but there is no official agreement between the parties. At this point it’s hard to say what developments there will be, whether the current Head of Sport and Development at Red Bull will move to Italy or not.

One thing is certain, the Rossoneri CEO Ivan Gazidis and Elliot will try to convince the German coach to accept Milan. Perhaps a higher transfer budget could do the trick. Nevertheless the Signer family have already met with another candidate.
