Milan coach: Singer family meet with Rangnick alternative
If talks with Ralf Rangnick fail, AC Milan will consider other names for the head coach role with Marcelino have met the Singer family.
According to the majority of the reports, Ralf Rangnick is sure to become the new AC Milan coach at the end of the season. Others are less convinced by this scenario. For this reason, others alternatives are also considered.
La Repubblica reports that AC Milan have set their sights on another coach Marcelino Garcia Toral. The Spaniard was in London to meet Gordon Singer. The meting between the Spanish coach and the son of AC Milan’s owner has happened shortly before the Coronavius outbreak.
The former Valencia coach has been linked with the Rossoneri ever since Marco Giampaolo was sacked. At that time, however, the management opted for Stefano Pioli who is certain to leave Milan at the end of the season.
Marcelino is AC Milan’s plan B in case the Rangnick operation fails. The 54-year-old Spaniard is attracted by the idea of having an experience in Italy and has offered his availability. In the past, Marcelino has also been a target of Inter for the bench. According to La Repubblica,
