Finished: Benevento 2-2 Milan

Gennaro Gattuso makes his debut as AC Milan’s coach with a disappointing draw against Benevento. Jack Bonaventura and Nikola Kalinic score for the rossoneri but that’s not enough.

Gennaro Gattuso starts his adventure as AC Milan’s coach on the wrong foot. The rossoneri find the advantage thanks to a header from Bonaventura in 38th minute. The hosts equalize everything in the beginning of the second half but only 7 minutes later the red and blacks pass again in advantage with Kalinic. Alessio Romagnoli is punished with a second yellow card in the 75′ leaving the rossoneri in 10 men. In the last minute of the game Benevento earn their first point in Serie A thanks to a goal from Brignoli with a header following a set piece situation.
