Gattuso comments on Lazio and Roma: “I’m annoyed”
The day after the win at the Olimpico Stadium against the Giallorossi, coach Gennaro Gattuso spoke in exclusive to Milan TV:
AS ROMA
“We gave a positive performance and for sure, it gives us confidence towards Wednesday’s match. We are a little annoyed because it had not snowed in Rome in years. We’ve worked in the gym, but I’d have preferred us to work on the pitch. We are still very focused on Wednesday’s clash. The last win helps us to feel confident but we have several tough matches ahead of us. We must recover our energy and think about our upcoming games“

“We have to raise the bar because we will face tough opponents who have very strong players. Considering the individuals, we will face very prepared and talented players. We have to show we are ready for the big matches as we have been doing during the last months. However, what we’ve done is important but is in the past. Now we have to look forward“

“Lazio have a lot of quality. They play high-intensity football and are hard to tackle. They bring 3 to 4 attacking players into the area and have top quality players. They have a very solid team and as I said three weeks ago, they have quantity and quality in terms of players. Therefore, we can’t make mistakes. When they win, they tend to score 3 and 4 goals. We need to be ready and play a perfect match“.
