Gattuso to make three changes in defense for Milan-Roma

Only four days are left for the second league match of AC Milan this season, the home debut against the in-form Roma of coach Eusebio Di Francesco.

The team of Gennaro Gattuso will have to take advantage of the calendar, as the Giallorossi will are busy tonight with Atalanta and then will have only 96 hours to prepare for the Rossoneri. Apart from the physical and athletic condition, AC Milan could change something in terms of deployment too, given that against Napoli something went very wrong. In defense in particular Gattuso could put his hand to change the initial set-up, especially with the inclusion of three important new arrivals.

Rino is considering handing Mattia Caldara his official debut with AC Milan. The former Juventus was left out of the opening match against Napoli because he is still adapting to the way of life at Milanello and learning the movements of a back line of 4, since with Atalanta he used to play in a defense of three. Musacchio’s not so brilliant performance could immediately open the doors of the starting lineup for him. In addition, Laxalt is expected to replace Ricardo Rodriguez reports Sky Sport.

Also a promotion of Pepe Reina is being considered against the Giallorossi. The Spanish 35 year old goalkeeper could alternate with Gigio Donnarumma, also very much criticized after the two goals of Zielinski against Napoli. There is still time for Gattuso to mediate on his choices but these three changes are not impossible at all.
