Gazidis to bring Arsenal star at Milan

Ivan Gazidis imminent arrival as CEO of AC Milan could be followed by another departure from Arsenal. Aaron Ramsey could join the Rossoneri on a free transfer.

Like in old times, the Rossoneri are considering a couple of free transfers for next season. One of the first names on Leonardo’s list is Adrien Rabiot, whose contract with PSG expires in 2019. As is also Cesc Fabregas, a Rossoneri dream since the early days. Now, according to Tuttosport, the name of Aaron Ramsey has been added to that list. The Wales international that has been playing for Arsenal since 2008 will be a free agent next summer and does not intend to renew with the Gunners.

With the signing of Ramsey AC Milan could fill their shortcomings in midfield. The 27 year old star is a complete midfielder, able to cover all the roles in the median line and inject quality and quantity to the game. His arrival at San Siro could be facilitated by Ivan Gazidis, current manager of Arsenal but soon-to-be CEO of AC Milan. Clearly a player like Ramsey will demand a rich contract but also participation in the Champions League and this a guarantee that Milan will not be able to offer in a short time.

In his decade at Emirates stadium Aaron Ramsey has played more than 300 games for Arsenal scoring on 58 occasions. Widely considered as one of the best midfielder of Premier League in recent years the Welsh could provide the necessary experience and talent to help the Red and Blacks succeed in Serie A and beyond.
