Sevilla director reveals Andre Silva’s future

AC Milan on loan striker Andre Silva have convinced the Sevilla management to rely on him even for next seasons.

Joaquin Caparros, sporting director of Sevilla, revealed to Estadio Deportivo that the Andalusian club wants to make Andre Silva’s stay in Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan permanent. Despite Andre Silva having spent only a few weeks in Spain, the Portuguese striker has convinced the leaders of Sevilla to sign him on a permanent deal.

We have an option to buy and we intend to exercise it. No matter how much we pay, the price of a player depends on his performances“said Joaquin Caparros. Andre Silva, apart from his goal against Italy on Monday has already scored three goals in La Liga, all against Rayo Vallecano, breaking a historic record.

The 22 year old centre forward was signed by AC Milan last year for a hefty fee of 38 million euros. In his only season at San Siro Andre Silva scored 10 goals but only 2 in Serie A. Although the Rossoneri wanted to keep him the Portugal international demanded more space a loan move was the best option. The Spanish club have the option to purchase Silva for a fee of around 35 million euros.
