Inter reignite interest in AC Milan star
From sure to leave to a key player for AC Milan. Franck Kessie has undergone a total transformation in the last months.
Like in past years, even this summer AC Milan and Inter will face off on the transfer market. Both clubs are very interested in Brescia talent Sandro Tonali, however, Inter are also looking at Milan for reinforcements.
Inter coach Antonio Conte is a big fan of AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie. The Nerazzurri tried to sign the Ivorian midfielder in January in exchange for Roberto Gagliardini.
Since that time Kessie has become a key player for AC Milan. The 23-year-old central midfielder has formed a perfect partnership with Ismael Benncaer and his performances have drastically improved. That has only increased Inter’s interest in his services.
Kessie agent, George Atangana was at Casa Milan today to meet the Rossoneri management to understand future plans of the club for Franck. Inter are not the only Italian club interested in Kessie with Napoli also keeping tabs on him.
In 2017 AC Milan paid a hefty figure of 32 million euros to purchase the Ivorian central midfielder from Atalanta. Kessie has a contract with the Rossoneri until 2022 and so far renewal was not an option.
