Juventus propose swap deal to AC Milan

Juventus have offered Italian goalkeeper Mattia Perin to AC Milan in exchange for veteran Pepe Reina plus a small fee in cash.

Possible revolution on goal for AC Milan. Like every summer for the past two years, the future of Gianluigi Donnarumma is again in doubt with his agent Mino Raiola trying to sell him and Milan once again between two fires.

The 20-year-old AC Milan goalkeeper could be the big sacrifice that UEFA demands. The Rossoneri could be forced to sell one of their biggest stars and Gigio is the one that can help fix the budget problems of the club. However, he may not be the only goalkeeper that leaves Milan this summer.

According to Tuttosport, Pepe Reina will not be promoted to starting goalkeeper because he is on the move too. The Italian newspaper, a source very close to Juventus, claims that Juve want to sign Pepe Reina and have offered Mattia Perin in exchange to AC Milan. Obviously, Juventus also pretend a small compensation in cash for the 26-year-old Italy international.

Pepe Reina is one of Maurizio Sarri’s loyal players and the Italian, who should be appointed Juventus coach soon, wants to have his former player at Napoli again at his disposal. An hypothesis that Reina’s father admitted in a recent interview.

Perin on the hand was signed by Juventus last summer to compete with Szczesny for the staring spot. However, the former Genoa goalkeeper failed in his mission making only 9 Serie A appearances this season. Perin wants more game time and with Euro 2020 next year he needs to play regular football to earn a call-up with Italy. In 2018 Juventus paid Genoa 12 million euros for Mattia Perin.
