AC Milan scout in Brazil Ricardo Kaka has been so impressed with the performances of Flamengo star midfielder Lucas Paqueta that he has recommended his immediate purchase.
Flamengo star Lucas Paqueta is making a name for himself with some brilliant performances in the Brazilian Serie A. In the last two seasons, the 21 year old attacking midfielder has emerged as one of the finest players in Brazil and many top European clubs are ready to spend big to acquire his services.
AC Milan are perhaps the most interested club in his services and despite his release clause of 50 million euros the Rossoneri are not backing down from the challenge. Sporting director Leonardo has delegated his “assistant” Ricardo Kaka to scout Lucas Paqueta and apparently the Flamengo starlet has impressed a lot the Red and Black legend.
According to the Brazilian press, Ricardo Kaka (responsible for scouting in South America) has greenlighted the purchase of Lucas Paqueta from Flamengo. Only a few games have been enough to convince Kaka that the 21 year old is Milan-material.
Now the final decision is up to Leonardo. The management feels that the squad could use some extra fantasy in midfield and a hugely promising player that links that department with the attack can contribute for many years at San Siro. It remains to be seen if Milan will make an offer for January or would prefer to wait for the summer instead.
