Lazio promise to sell Milan target next summer

Despite the many arrivals this summer, AC Milan tried to sign one of the best players in Italy for a staggering figure. Now the Rossoneri are ready to negotiate again for Milinkovic-Savic.

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic pushed for a move away from Lazio this summer and together with teammate Luis Alberto (wanted to join Sevilla) were not very pleased when the Italian club blocked their transfers, insisting for more money.

Mateja Kezman, agent of Milinkovic-Savic, had a meeting recently with Claudio Lotito and has been granted a guarantee by Lazio’s president that the 23 year old central midfielder will be sold next summer.

AC Milan technical director Leonardo made numerous attempts to land Savic but his offer of a loan move with the right to buy for 80 million euros plus two players in exchange was rejected with Lazio demanding a 120 million fee, only in cash. Now that Lazio have promised to sell their number 21 the Brazilian director is ready to make a fresh attempt for next summer.
