Lazio star offered to AC Milan on cut-price deal

Lazio attacking midfielder Luis Alberto is not pleased with life under Maurizio Sarri and has offered himself to AC Milan.

During the summer AC Milan tried to sign another attacking midfielder besides Brahim Diaz. Hakan Calhanoglu had just left to join Inter so the Rossoneri had to sign a partner for Diaz. Many players were followed but at the end nobody arrived.

One of the names that was close to AC Milan was Lazio star Luis Alberto. The elegant Spanish attacking midfielder was looking to leave Lazio after five years at the capitol club. Unfortunately for Milan, the Biancocelesti were not willing to sell him unless an offer of 50 million euros arrived.

However, the situation has changed in the last months. Journalist Alessandro Jacobone reports that the agent of Luis Alberto have offered him again to AC Milan. The 29-year-old trequartista is not enjoying life after coach Maurizio Sarri. The recent contract renewal of Sarri has convinced Alberto to look for a new club.

Nevertheless, the Rossoneri do seem interested in Luis Alberto like during the summer. The 29-year-old may now be available for a fee close to 30 million euros but the Rossoneri have decided to concentrate on the signing of a new defender and another centre forward.

Luis Alberto continues to play an important role for Lazio. The former Liverpool has made 21 appearances so far, scoring two goals and providing four assists.
