Maldini: “Here’s what we are looking for the defense”

AC Milan technical director Paolo Maldini was interviewed by Sky Sport before the start of Udinese vs Milan.

On the GAP between the Italian championship and the Champions League in the 90s: “For me there was none, the best league was the Italian Serie A in the 90s. On the January mercato: “Many things are said but I can assure you that 10% of the things that are said are not true. We are evaluating if there is the possibility of a player who’s immediately ready or perhaps for next season but it is not certain that he can be found. Beyond the African Cup, I consider we have a competitive team for the league and the Italian Cup“.

Paolo Maldini confirms that AC Milan are looking on the market for a new centre back that is ready to play regular football at AC Milan. Considering Maldini’s words, the new defender should be already familiar with Serie A.
