Luis Figo backs Andre Silva to shine in Serie A
Former Real Madrid start Luis Figo gave his thoughts on the difficult period Andre Silva is going through confident on the talent of his countrymen.
Interviewed by Il Corriere della Sera, the former Barcelona, Real Madrid and Inter right winger and current councilor of UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin, commented on the difficulties that two of his countrymen are facing in Italy, namely Andre Silva and Joao Mario.
The Portuguese legend Luis Figo declared: “They both are young and when they change country, team, style of play it takes time. They are two excellent players who have not yet managed to adapt to Italian football. Adapting, however, is much easier when things are going well. Inter is fine now, I hope this helps Joao Mario.”
