Milan, here is the revolution of Elliott: reduced powers for Fassone & Mirabelli and three top signings

The new owner of the Rossoneri is already at work creating the AC Milan of the future. Management changes and qualitative purchases will follow.

Elliott’s revolution, which wants to bring Milan back as soon as possible among the top European clubs, is about to start, but the American fund has no intention of upsetting the life of the club and therefore everything will happen with a certain calm. Il Giornale explains that Marco Fassone and Massimiliano Mirabelli are therefore destined to remain for now, even if their powers within the club will be substantially diminished.

The functions of the club CEO will be reduced, while within a few days an expert manager could arrive, with the declared task of monitoring the moves of the current sporting director on the transfer market. The hottest name for this tutor role is that of Leonardo, who has admitted to some close friends to be in advanced contacts with the new Milan. The future replacement for Fassone, on the other hand, should not be Gazidis, who has told his collaborators that he doesn’t intend to leave Arsenal, but Umberto Gandini.

With the advent of Elliott, the market strategies of Milan will change too. The American fund wants to focus on two or three top level purchases and this new orientation was also confirmed during the London meeting between the Milanese management and the representatives of Paul Singer. The new AC Milan of Elliott is therefore ready to be born and after the shareholders meeting on Saturday we will know something more concrete on the American fund’s plans for the club.
