Milan have identified Simon Kjaer as the next signing

AC Milan have identified central defender Simon Kjaer as one of the next players to arrive soon in San Siro. An agreement with Fenerbahce already exists.

Simon Kjaer will very probably be one of the next players to be part of the rossoneri’s wide shopping campaign. Not an immediate arrival, though, because before the club needs to sell some of the central defenders still in the organic that are not being considered for next season.

In yesterday ‘s press conference Massimiliano Mirabelli said he knew well the Danish defender currently part of Fenerbahce but before thinking about signing a new centre back the club needs to sell some of current performers. The rossoneri have identified Kjaer as next season’s high profile back up. In the past he was part of Roma and Palermo in Italy. The 28 year old is a very experienced player having previously played also in Germany with Wolfsburg and in France with Lille. According to Tuttosport, various players like Rodrigo Ely, Stefan Simic, Jherson Vergara and Gabriel Paletta have to leave before the Simon Kjaer arrives. With Fenerbahce there exists a verbal agreement for 8-10 million euros.

After signing seven players till now and assuring Gialuigi Donnarumma’s renewal (read here), AC Milan evaluate which players should depart. Currently there are 35 players part of the rossoneri team. Too much. The club has already declared that after signing Andrea Conti, it will focus on the sale of several players. Many will go. In defense, for example, Mattia De Sciglio and Leonel Vangioni will be surely sold.
