Milan midfielder reveals team goal for this season

AC Milan midfielder Lucas Biglia talks about his injuries, the possible contract renewal and reveals the Rossoneri’s goal for this season.

Lucas Biglia was present today at Casa Milan during the opening of the Bistrot Fourghetti restaurant. In a short interview for Sky Sports the Argentine 32 year old defensive midfielder talked about the Rossoneri, his future and team goals for this season.

I feel more integrated into the group. I want to totally dedicate myself to Milan now after leaving the national team. I thank the club because it has been close to me in difficult times and I want to give my best in every game. I do not know if I’m irreplaceable. I have to thank the coach and the staff for their support and work. I come after some difficult months of physical problems. After the holidays I went to a specialist to heal my back. Then I came back here to work. I played two matches plus the friendly game with Real Madrid“.

When asked about seasonal objectives the Argentine replies: “We have to think about the Champions League. We do not look at others. The championship until March is one thing while from March to May it’s a totally different thing. We hope to reach the top four in March“.

Lucas Biglia also commented on rumors regarding his possible contract renewal: “I would like to renew my contract with Milan. I feel good, I have adapted after a difficult year. I feel fine with my teammates, they gave me confidence. With the coach the relationship is excellent. I do what he asks of me for the team“.
