Gattuso: “We have signed the new Tomasson”
Krzysztof Piatek made a very positive debut in Milan-Napoli gaining praise for his performance with Rino even comparing him to Jon Dahl Tomasson.
Now that the Higuain drama has ended AC Milan can finally count one a player like Krzysztof Piatek. The former Genoa star was signed for 35 million euros and if yesterday was of any indication we can expect great things from him.
La Gazzetta dello Sport praises the Polish striker: “Piatek needs only 20 minutes to cancel Higuain and provide the venom the team didn’t have in attack so far. A cold blood hunter“.
Coach Gennaro Gattuso also praised Piatek comparing him to one of AC Milan best strikers in the past. “I like him. I see him, he’s a curious boy, observes everybody. He has great desire, it gives me the feeling that he’s a boy who loves staying at Milanello. He’s enthusiastic. Paolo (Maldini) said it previously, Piatek looks a little like Tomasson.
