While his defensive partner Toby Alderweireld seemed about to abandon Tottenham but surprisingly renewed, Jan Vertonghen seems happy in London but has yet t sign an extension. His deal expires this summer and the parties haven’t made any progress.
The most capped player in the history of Belgium national team insists that he’ll remain at the club but so far the parties have failed to sign a new agreement. Obviously rumors have intensified that he may leave Tottenham at the end of the season.
The French giants of PSG are the most interested clubs in the 31 year old defender but if in the next days he does’t sign a renewal, suitors will surely continue to pile up.
