From France: AC Milan eyeing former Monaco coach to replace Gattuso

According to reports from France AC Milan have eyed former Monaco coach Leonardo Jardim as potential candidate to replace Gattuso.

Even the 3-2 victory against Sampdoria doesn’t seem enough to send away rumors regarding Gennaro Gattuso’s possible sacking. Rino and Milan must confirms themselves again today against Genoa. In the meantime Italian and foreign papers continue to name possible candidates that may replace the former defensive midfielder.

The new entry comes from France. In fact, France Football reports that the Rossoneri management is considering the option of Leonardo Jardim. The former Monaco coach was recently replaced by Thierry Henry after a beginning of the season with many negative results.

Leonardo Jardim was named Ligue 1 Manager of the Year in 2017 after a fantastic year with Monaco. The French club reached the semi-finals of Champions League that season and won the French league.

The Portuguese coach is credited for creating a group of stars. Under his tenure Bernardo Silva, Tiemoue Bakayoko, Benjamin Mendy, Thomas Lemar, Fabinho and Mbappe made headlines with their football and now play for some of the biggest clubs in Europe.
