PSG offer cash plus one player for Theo Hernandez

PSG step up their pursuit of Theo Hernandez and are offering AC Milan a high fee plus their defender Abdou Diallo.

PSG and AC Milan are expected to negotiate a lot of transfer business n the summer. The rich French club have recently intensified their pursuit of Rossoneri left-back Theo Hernandez.

PSG are worried that Coronavirus outbreak may affect their finances and in order to sign Theo they are formulating an interesting offer for Milan. PSG are readying a high figure in cash plus the services of Abdou Diallo, a flexible and dynamic defender who is part of the Paris-based club. But let’s find out more about who is Abdou Diallo and what type of player he is. And above all if he would be useful for Milan next season.

Abdou Diallo is a French defender of Senegalese origin, born in Tours on 4 May 1996. The 23-year-old centre back grew up on the football team of his city before being noticed by Monaco’s scouts. In 2015/16 he made his breakthrough with on loan in Belgium at Zulte Wagerem. On his return to Monaco he won the Ligue 1 as a back-up player before join Mainz for 5 million euros.

The Franco-Senegalese stands out as an interesting talent in the Bundesliga and after only one season he transfers to Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2018 for e fee of €28 million. A year later PSG decide to invest 32 million euros to snatch Diallo from Dortmund.

This season Diallo has made 22 appearances but has often been used as a left back. Diallo, a left-footed defender with overwhelming physique, is considered a flexible stopper who can cover all the roles in defence. However, the 23-year-old still needs to improve in order to become a top centre back. PSG are aware that AC Milan are looking for a new centre back to partner with Alessio Romagnoli. Nevertheless, if Milan decide to sell one of thier top player it will be for cash only.
