Amid Milan links, Saint-Maximin drops transfer hint

AC Milan have intensified contacts with transfer target Allan Saint-Maximin. The Nice winger will be the Rossoneri’s big purchase in attack.

Just because the January transfer window has closed it doesn’t mean AC Milan are not working on new signings. In fact the Rossoneri have intensified their search for a new winger with Nice star Allan Saint-Maximin reportedly almost a Red and Black player for next season.

According to Sportmediaset, AC Milan have reached an agreement with both Saint-Maximin and his club. The 21 year old winger will sign a 5 year contract at the end of the season while Nice should earn around 20-25 million euros from his sale.

Even in the last days of the January shopping campaign Leonardo and Paolo Maldini tried to bring Allan at San Siro but without success. The timing was not perfect, Nice demanded 35 million euros and coach Patrick Vieira even threatened to resign if the club would sell their best player. Apparently a move was just postponed for the summer.

In the middle of all this rumors linking the player with AC Milan, Allan has dropped a transfer hint on social media. The 21 year old French posted a photo on Instagram yesterday with the caption: “It’s just a matter of time“.

Clrearly the days of Saint-Maximin at Nice are numbered and at the end of the season he will join another team. The talented youngster is exactly what Milan are searching for, a goalscorer and assist provider. The perfect mix for coach Gennaro Gattuso, a great dribbler with the ability to take on players.
