Milan vs Genoa, probable lineups

AC Milan host Genoa tomorrow at San Siro, in a must win match, too much decisive for many reasons. Another negative result would spell trouble for the team and the coach.

There are so many accusations against Vincenzo Montella because of AC Milan’s difficult start of the season. The most important critique that he faces is of having failed to give an identity to the team. The rossoneri still do not have a stable formation.

After the 0-0 against AEK it is possible to expect some changes in the rossoneri’s starting lineup. Calhanoglu returns after the red card suspension but should start from from the bench. Disappointed with the Europa League performance, Vincenzo Montella returns to the old 3-4-3 formation, the game system designed in the summer.

Between the posts, as usual, the untouchable Gigio Donnarumma. The back three will be composed of Cristian Zapata, captain Leo Bonucci, and Romagnoli who is experiencing an unpleasant moment, facing continuously some muscular problems. On the sides, Fabio Borini and Ricardo Rodriguez who needs to redeem himself after the decisive penalty caused against Inter.

In midfield space for Lucas Biglia and Franck Kessie, both rested against AEK while Jack Bonaventura and Jesus Suso are confirmed on the wings. Andre Silva is the one to be sacrificed up front with Kalinic who will lead the attack, finally 100% fit after a recent injury.
