Milan’s immediate demands for Montella
Montella’s position as AC Milan’s coach is weakening match by match. The rossoneri leaders demand a quick reaction and have submitted their requests to the coach.
Carlo Pellegatti of Premium Sport spoke about the huge importance of AC Milan’s next game at San Siro against Genoa. Another negative result would worsen the rossoneri’s chances to finish in the top 4 at the end of the season and it can potentially be the end of Vincenzo Montella’s adventure as Milan coach.
Pellegatti, a well-known journalist and rossoneri fans, reports: “Certainly this is a very delicate match for the fate of Milan’s 2017/2018 season and, of course, if in case it goes wrong, the rossoneri leaders would have to face many problems. Marco Fassone and Massimiliano Mirabelli want Montella to continue to be the coach of AC Milan and pamper him, but Vincenzo Montella must finally give signs of having created a playing identity and deploying the same eleven for a few games. They want Montella to stay until the end of the season, but much of his fate is in his hands. They also want to know if the players are always close to the technician and trust him.“
