MN: AC Milan to make 5 more signings

AC Milan have been very active on the mercato so far but the Rossoneri still need to make another 5 signings to complete the squad.

August is going to be the last month of the summer transfer window. Despite making six signings so far, Paolo Maldini and Massara are working to give coach Stefano Pioli the missing pieces and complete what is already a competitive squad.

By the end of the month, the management intends to close another 5 purchases reports MilanNews.it. The most easy task is that of the new right back. AC Milan want a player to provide competition for Davide Calabria. The goal is to bring Diogo Dalot from Manchester United but the English have been reluctant to let the Portuguese leave again on loan.

The Rossoneri decided to sign Sandro Tonali permanently and are in talks to extend the contract of Franck Kessie. Pobega has returned to the base but, nevertheless, a new central midfielder is needed to complete the department. Boubacar Kamara is the top pick and AC Milan have already agreed personal terms with the French player but not with Marseille. Bakayoko is the alternative.

The next two positions will be crucial to helping Milan complete for the Scudetto this season. With Hakan Calhanoglu joining Inter, the Rossoneri are looking for a quality replacement. Names like Nikola Vlasic, James Rodriguez, Isco and Sabitzer have been mentioned but at the moment there doesn’t seem to be a frontrunner.

Similar situation for the right winger role. Pioli’s dream is Domenico Berardi but Sassuolo’s 40-50 million asking price is prohibitive for the Rossoneri. Josip Ilicic is one of the transfer targets while Hakim Ziyech is the dream. AC Milan hope that Chelsea will accept a loan move for Ziyech near the end of the emrcato.
