L’Equipe: Monaco and AC Milan agree Kessie transfer

AC Milan have agreed to sell 22-year-old central midfielder to Monaco for a fee €35 million reports L’Equipe.

MILAN TRANSFER NEWS – In a surprising turn of events Monaco return to negotiate with AC Milan. However, this time, the French club are not interested in striker Andre Silva but rather in Franck Kessie.

The Ligue 1 club recently contacted the Rossoneri to inquire about the availability of 22-year-old central midfielder but it seems that talks are in more advanced phase than initially believed.

AC Milan were was close to selling Kessie to Wolverhampton for a fee of nearly €30 million but the Ivory international refused. He rejected the chance to join the Premier League side because of his doubts concerning the level of Wolverhampton. At that time AC Milan were pushing to sell Kessie and were forced to lower their asking price in order to complete a move in a short time.

While today L’Equipe reports that AC Milan and Monaco have agreed the transfer of Franck Kessie to France for a fee of €35 million. According to the French news outlets, the two clubs have reached a total agreement and the only thing missing is Kessie’s approval.

Considering the many difficulties in trying to sell Andre Silva, Diego Laxalt and Samu Castielljo, the Rossoneri could be forced to sell Kessie instead in order to fund a move for Angel Correa.
