€45m Man United signing offered to Milan

Manchester United defensive midfielder Nemanja Matic has been offered to AC Milan on a free transfer.

The name of the new coach is the hottest topic at AC Milan these days. Many sources claim that Ralf Rangnick has already signed a contract with the Rossoneri while officially Milan insist that Stefano Pioli is the coach and any discussion on the matter will happen in the summer.

What is sure is that Milan are continuously working on the transfer market despite the name of the next coach. One of the name being linked with AC Milan is Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic.

The 31-year-old Serbian defensive midfielder is one of the big names that are set to become free agents this summer. His contract expires in June and no renewal talks have been held.

AC Milan have struggled a lot this season in the defensive midfielder position with Lucas Biglia being injured for the majority of the season leaving Milan exposed with Ismael Bennacer the only player available in that role.

In addition to being an experienced veteran midfielder and available for free, Matic has already been offered to AC Milan reports Calciomercato. Three years ago Manchester United paid €45 million to purchase Nemanja Matic from Chelsea. This season the 31-year-old has made 10 Premier League appearances.
