Four Juventus stars to miss Milan match
Only a few hours have passed since the important victory against Udinese thanks to a last minute goal by captain Alessio Romangoli. However at Casa Milan the club is fully concentrated on the next two decisive games between Europa League and Serie A.
The Rossoneri will challenge Real Betis on Thursday evening, a match valid for the fourth round of the Europa League group stage. While next Sunday the big match against Juventus will be staged at San Siro, a real maturity exam for the formation of Gennaro Gattuso.
Results aside, this is not a cheerful moment for AC Milan. In fact, the Red and Blacks will likely face the feared Serie A leaders, unbeaten so far in the league, without some important players. Caldara, Calabria, Lucas Biglia return next year while the presence of Higuain, Bonaventura and Calahanoglu is in doubt. However, Juventus have not fared better and news coming from Vinovo are not encouraging for the Bianconeri.
Massimiliano Allegri’s team was back in training today and apparently four star players will skip the AC Milan match. Blaise Matuidi has a Bruised hip, flexor injury for Joao Cancelo, similar stop for Douglas Costa while Federico Bernardeschi is sure to miss due to an ankle trauma.
All the above mentioned players should miss Juventus-Manchester United on Wednesday and try to recover for AC Milan. However the chances that they start against the Rossoneri are pretty low. Instead captain Chiellini and the Croatian striker Mandzukic has returned to train with the group.
