OFFICIAL – AC Milan acquire A.C.F. Brescia
Starting from next season AC Milan will have a new squad. Rossoneri Women’s First Team will compete in Serie A championship as from 2018/19 season the club has announced.
AC Milan announce that from 2018/19 season they will participate, for the first time in the history of the club, in Serie A Women’s championship. FIGC, with a resolution signed by the Extraordinary Commissioner Roberto Fabbricini, has made official AC Milan’s acquisition of A.C.F. Bresciasporting rights.
Therefore, AC Milan take another step within FIGC project for the development of women’s football in Italy. A journey undertaken by the Club since the 2015/16 season with the introduction, in its Youth Sector, of the first two Rossoneri junior teams (“Pulcine”, ed) and continued over the years by promoting other teams.
