Olympiacos-Milan, probable lineups
Olympiacos host AC Milan in the closing match of the Europa League group stage. A victory qualifies each team for the next round.
Today at 21:00 CET, AC Milan face Olympiacos in Greece in the last match of the Europa League group stage. For the Rossoneri avoiding defeat would be enough to secure qualification for the knockout stage but if the Red and Blacks aim to finish Group F in first place then three points must become an obligation.
Like in all other Europa League games, even against Olympiacos, Rino will deploy Pepe Reina between the posts. The rest of the formation will be the same we saw in Serie A against Torino with one exception. Zapata and the newly converted centre back Abate form the central duo while Davide Calabria and Ricardo Rodriguez complete the defence.
In midfield, it’s hard to imagine Milan without Franck Kessie and Tiemoue Bakayoko in the middle. The two have combined well and finally the French midfielder is delivering for Milan. Only one between Suso and Hakan Calhanoglu will start on the wings. Castillejo is pushing to have his moment and considering the disappointing outings of Hakan that may be a wise move. However the Spaniard will probably replace Suso who is battling with a slight injury.
No changes even in the attacking department. The last goal of Gonzalo Higuain dates back more than 40 days ago but the Argentine will have another chance tomorrow. El Pipita is suffering from back pain however his desire to play has prevailed. Cutrone will be at his side.
