Only one issue to solve for Bakayoko, AC Milan make two proposals

AC Milan and Chelsea continue to negotiate a loan move for Tiemoué Bakayoko with the two clubs very close to an agreement.

The Rossoneri are very close to reaching a deal for Tiemoué Bakayoko but still there is some work to be done before concluding a transfer. The 23 year old defensive midfielder is expected to join the Red and Blacks on loan with the right to buy a the end of the season.

The two clubs are very close to reaching an agreement over the potential signing fee. AC Milan have proposed 30 million euros to make the move permanent while Chlesea require 35. Last summer the English side paid 40 million to purchase him from Monaco. However, such a short distance will not be a problem for the two clubs.

The only node to be solved is that of the player’s salary. Bakayoko earns 6,8 million euros per season at Chelsea, too much for AC Milan. The Rossoneri have proposed two alternatives: 1) Chelsea to pay a part of his salary, perhaps half. 2) AC Milan will pay all of his salary but in this case the option to buy must be set at 30 million. Updates are awaited soon.
