QS: AC Milan concluding deal for Spanish winger
It’s guaranteed to be a tense week for AC Milan with the club dealing with UEFA, a possible change of ownership and transfer market.
According to QS, AC Milan have blocked Jose Maria Callejon of Napoli for some time now. The agent of the Spanish winger declared a few days ago that “We have not received any official offers but if we do we will take them into consideration“, however, a deal is in the final stages reports QS.
Since coach Sarri left from Napoli Callejon is considering taking the same path and starting a new adventure. After five years with the vice-Champions the Spaniard wants to continue his career in Italy.
The parties are in negotiations since April with the Spaniard accepting the Rossoneri even without the guarantee of being a first team choice. His arrival doesn’t necessarily exclude the permanence of Suso.
AC Milan have only one week to close a deal because his release clause of 23 million euros expires on June 30 and president Aurelio De Laurentiis will not allow Callejon to leave for less than 30. A really tight deadline because the Rossoneri are busy dealing with UEFA. Tomorrow, the governing body of European football will unveil their verdict on Europa League possible ban for next season.
