Rafael Leao offered to Real Madrid
Agent Jorge Mendes has offered Rafael Leao to Real Madrid. The Portuguese could leave AC Milan this summer.
In recent days, news has emerged that Rafael Leao may leave AC Milan after two seasons. The 22-year-old is considered a crack of European football even if has struggled, and not a little, to show it on the pitch. Rafa has scored only 13 goals since joining the Rossoneri from Lille.
His talent cannot be doubted. Albeit sporadically, Leao has showcased flashes of football genius but he lacks continuity. Given his enormous potential, AC Milan would not want to deprive themselves of him but in case of a sensational offer of over 30 million euros Maldini and Massara would not think twice.
Spanish portal Defensa Central, a source very close to Real, reports that agent Jorge Mendes is already on the move to find a new club for Rafael Leao. Mendes has offered the 22-year-old Portuguese striker to Real Madrid for a figure between 30 and 40 million euros. Nevertheless, Los Blancos president Florentino Perez decisively refused.
Real Madrid don’t want to spend a high transfer fee on a striker who has made so little in terms of accomplishments. Madrid are looking for a replacement for Benzema but they are only considering two names: Haaland or Mbappe.
However, as long as the Rossoneri are concerned, Rafael Leao wants to change club this summer according to Defensa Central. The former Lille believes he is not finding the necessary space at AC Milan. Consequently his agent will continue to offer Leao to other clubs, always for a sum between 30-40 million euros. That’s the only figure that Milan will accept for the sale of the Portuguese talent.
