Rangnick to complete €20m first signing

Future AC Milan manager Ralf Rangnick is close to completing his first summer signing spending 20 million euros.

When Ralf Rangnick agreed to join AC Milan for next season he presented a list of transfer targets. On top of that list was talented left midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai.

Now AC Milan are very close to completing the signing of Szoboszlai from Red Bull Salzburg. The Hungary international will the Rossoneri’s first summer purchase.

The German coach is a big fan of Szoboszlai, a player he knows perfectly well since it was Rangnick to complete his transfer to Red Bull Salzburg in 2017. The German is again involved in talks between Milan and the player.

Todofichajes.com reports that AC Milan will spend 20 million euros to sign Salzburg. The parties have been negotiating since January and the 19-year-old midfielder is one of the most sought after players this season.

He has been in exceptional form scoring 10 goals and assisting 16 in 37 appearances in all competitions so far. Salzburg did great in Champions League too with Szoboszlai and Erling Haaland being their two best players. Rangnick’s new AC Milan project is beginning to take shape.
