Serie A: Round 8, Team of the Week

Three AC Milan players are part of round 8 team of the week after the fine display against Chievo Verona.

The Rossoneri offered a great performance against a much inferior Chievo Verona however the Rossoneri dominated for the entire 90 minutes and secured their third win in a row. The display of three AC Milan players was top notch and worthy of a spot in this round’s team of the week.

Suso, the provider of three assists against Chievo, was certainly this week’s best player in Serie A. The flamboyant Spanish winger currently leads the Serie A assists charts and has formed a formidable partnership with Gonzalo Higuain.

Precisely the Argentine 30 year old striker, in the company of his compatriot Mauro Icardi, leads the attack. Gonzalo Higuain scored a brace and so far, in 7 games, he has found the back of the net on 6 occasions.

Let’s not forget Lucas Biglia. The former Lazio midfielder was simply superb in midfield. Decisive interceptions, high pass accuracy and very confident every time he had the ball on his feet. It seems as if we are watching a totally different Biglia this season.
