Milan vs Inter, probable lineups

AC Milan face Inter in the second Derby della Madonnina of the season. Coach Pioli will make seven changes for the derby.

AC Milan vs Inter is one the most important games of the season. This time, the two squads that face off in the Derby della Madonnina lead Serie A with just one point of difference between the two.

The Rossoneri need to bounce back after two disappointing results with Spezia and Red Star Belgrade. Thankfully, coach Stefano Pioli will have his best eleven at his disposal reports La Gazzetta dello Sport.

As usual, Gigio Donnarumma will be between the posts. Simon Kjaer will be preferred over Fikayo Tomori. Davide Calabria will be on the right with Theo Hernandez on the left. Captain Alessio Romagnoli completes the back four.

Ismael Bennacer has suffered an injury and will miss Milan vs Inter. Coach Stefano Pioli has received criticism for his unnecessary choice to use Bennacer in the last match. Sandro Tonali will take his place in midfield alongside Franck Kessie. Besides Benancer, Mario Mandzukic will also miss the derby.

Pioli has only one doubt for the derby and it concerns the left wing. Ante Rebic and Rafael Leao battle for a starting jersey with the Croatian favorite over Leao. Alexis Saelemaekers will play on the right and with Hakan Calhanoglu will be in support of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

AC MILAN (4-2-3-1): Donnarumma, Calabria, Kjaer, Romagnoli, Theo Hernandez, Tonali, Kessie, Saelemaekers, Calhanoglu, Rebic, Ibrahimovic.

INTER (3-5-2): Handanovic, Skriniar, De Vrij, Bastoni, Hakimi Barella, Brozovic, Eriksen, Perisic, Lautaro, Lukaku.
