Sky: AC Milan have 3 names for the attack

AC Milan are looking at three strikers. The Rossoneri need to sign a new partner for Ibrahimovic when the summer mercato opens.

AC Milan have agreed to extend the contract of Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The Swedish will stay at Milan for one more year while Mario Mandzukic will bid farewell to the club at the end of the season because his deal will not be renewed.

Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara are already working to bring a new centre forward at San Siro for next season. Sky Sport reports that the Rossoneri will choose between three strikers that are doing great this season.

“AC Milan are looking at 3 names for the future. The first is Dusan Vlahovic from Fiorentina whom Pioli know and likes a lot. His recent performances have raised his price tag to €40 million. This figure is perhaps too much for the Rossoneri’s budget.

Then there is Andrea Belotti whose contract expires in 2022 and will not renew with Torino. President Cairo asks for 30 million. It is the same figure PSV Eindhoven asks for Donyell Malen. The 22-year-old has scored 25 goals (and 9 assists) in 41 games this season and is a client of Mino Raiola. We need to understand how Milan will work with Raiola considering that the future of Donnarumma is at stake“, said journalist Manuele Baiocchini.

Fiorentina’s Dusan Vlahovic is believed to be the first choice of AC Milan due to his familiariy with Serie A and age. The 21-year-old Serbia international has scored 15 goals and assisted 2 in 29 appearances attracting the attention of Tottenham, RB Leipzig, Borussia Dortmund and Roma.
