Sky: The details of Gattuso’s new contract

Gennaro Gattuso is about to renew his contract with AC Milan after Marco Fassone and Massimiliano Mirabelli had already announced their wish to confirm Rino on the bench.

Sky Sports confirms that this will be the decisive week for the signing of the new contract between the Calabrian coach and AC Milan. The new agreement will last three years (until June 2021), reflecting the club’s desire to open a new winning cycle with Gattuso. The final meeting between the parties should take place in the coming days (Wednesday-Thursday) but it is not excluded that it can be moved due to other important events (like Yonghong Li’s 10 million deposit issue).

Coach Gennaro Gattuso has convinced everyone that he is the right man for the job. Since taking over from Montella, he has qualified AC Milan for the Coppa Italia final and the team is just 4 points away from Champions League. Now the red and blacks are ready to reward him. Rino will earn 2 million euros (plus bonuses) from his new contract with the Rossoneri.
