AC Milan sports director Massimiliano Mirabelli has been very active on the free agent market already securing three players for next season.
According to Tuttosport, AC Milan are signing many players on a free transfer this days because the club still doesn’t have an exact budget for the summer transfer window. The figure will largely depend on how the April meeting with the UEFA will go regarding the Settlement Agreement and the debt refinancing issue with Elliott.
Another reason is because the Rossoneri want to avoid the risk of losing players like Gigio Donnarumma and Suso. The club has signed players like Strinic, Reina and soon Ki Sung-Yueng and want to invest the entire budget on only 2-3 important purchases without having to sacrifice any of its stars in order to reinvest on the market.
