Sky: Leonardo working to make another singing before the end of summer
After Bakayoko AC Milan are negotiating the last details with Villarreal for Castillejo and Bacca but Leonardo aims to make another signing before the end of the transfer window.
In a live broadcast directly from Milanello, journalist Peppe Di Stefano provided important market updates for Sky Sports regarding the next moves of the Rossoneri club: “So far the purchases have been made with a certain logic, following a project for this and the next season. Before talking on AC Milan’s starting eleven in the first round of Serie A (on Sunday), they inform me of a deep analysis going on at Casa Milan”.
“Except Castillejo and Bacca (read here), there seems to be important movements for another incoming player. Not players that can make the fans dream, not a big purchase of 70 million euros to say a figure. We have not yet identified the name but Leonardo and Maldini are working to complete the squad. In these last days there could be another purchase”.
Even though negotiations for Milinkovic-Savic continue it will be hard to close a deal till Friday and Lazio’s insistence on a only-cash operation complicates the operation even more. However the Mister X could be another midfielder, the departure of Locatelli and the fact that the Red and Blacks will play in three competitions this season highlights the need for another player in the median line.
