World Cup winner offered to AC Milan

French right winger Florien Thauvin has been proposed to AC Milan. Marseille have set an affordable price and Maldini is thinking about him.

Jens Petter Hauge completed his medicals today and has signed a five-year contract with AC Milan. The Rossoneri paid 5 million euros to purchase the Norwegian left winger from Bodo Glimt. However, the fans hoped that a right winger would have joined Milan this summer.

Federico Chiesa is the big dream of Milan but Fiorentina’s high asking price is unlikely to be matched by any club, not just Milan. Florien Thauvin could be the alternative name.

Thauvin has been linked with AC Milan several times in the past. The 27-year-old French winger has done very well in Ligue 1 with Marseille. After a long injury that kept him out for nearly the entire season last year, Thauvin has started this season on the right foot scoring 2 and assisting 2 in 5 appearances so far. Most importantly he has played every match from the first minute demonstrating that the injury is now behind him.

Thauvin’s contract with Marseille expires in June 2021 and the player does not plan to renew. According to reports by Tuttosport, Thauvin has been offered again to Maldini and Massara. The management is seriously considering his signing because the World Cup winner is considered an excellent element.

Marseille asks for 15 million euros to sell the talented right winger. AC Milan are also thinking of blocking him and bringing him to Italy next year on a free transfer.
