MILAN TRANSFER NEWS – Despite the disappointing season of Milan Primavera, relegated at the end of Primavera-1 championship, Daniel Maldini was one of the best Rossoneri players on display. The 17-year-old forward made 26 appearances, scoring 10 goals and providing 1 assist despite being one of the youngest players in the league.

On October 11th, Daniel will be 18 years old. Father Paolo is the technical director of AC Milan and therefore he should also decide on his son’s professional future. Last season Paolo Maldini said that Leonardo would take care of his son, to avoid a sort of conflict of interest. Now there are Zvonimir Boban and Frederic Massara in management.

Meanwhile the appearances of the Primavera prodigy have not gone unnoticed with three Serie B clubs interested in his services. Unlike his grandfather, father and elder brother, Daniel Maldini is not a defender but a second striker and, if necessary, he plays as winger on both flanks. A few months ago Daniel made his debut with Italy under-18. Last season Daniel was AC Milan U-17 top scorer with 13 goals in 28 appearances.

According to reports, Serie B sides, Spezia, Crotone and Pisa are interested in Daniel Maldini. The three clubs would like take the young Maldini on loan. At this point, it’s up to Daniel to decide whether to try a new adventure in Serie B and continue with the Primavera squad. Papa Paolo will certainly advise him, and it will also be interested to see how much Boban and Massara will influence on a final decision.
