AC Milan complete defender transfer to Torino

After failed negotiations with Parma and Atalanta, AC Milan have agree to loan Diego Laxalt to Torino with the right to buy at the end of the season.

MILAN TRANSFER NEWS – In recent years, bizarre things have happened at AC Milan. The case of Diego Laxalt is certainly among those. The Rossoneri agreed to transfer the Uruguay international first at Parma, but he failed to agree personal terms, then at Atlanta, but he again failed to agree personal terms. Finally Torino have pleased the former Genoa left-back.

AC Milan have agreed to loan Diego Laxalt to Torino for 1 million reports La Gazzetta dello Sport. Torino will have the right to make the move permanent at the end of the season for an additional €14 million.

Laxalt’s agent Ariel Krasouski was at Casa Milan in recent days and the parties have finally reached an agreement. The deal will be announced after Torino’s Europa League match against Wolverhampton.

Torino will pay Laxalt 1,4 million while AC Milan will also contribute with 300 thousand euros. Thus coach Walter Mazzarri will have under his orders the replacement of Cristian Ansaldi, currently injured.

Milan signed Diego Laxalt from Genoa for €14 million last summer. The 26-year-old left back made 29 appearances but failed to justify the investment. His performances were mostly underwhelming and he often started from the bench.
