Pioli asks Milan to sign Chelsea winger

AC Milan could be back in business with Chelsea. The Rossoneri want the Blues winger, reportedly a specific demand of Pioli.

AC Milan are looking again at Chelsea to strengthen their squad. The English club is certainly an expensive shop, as evidenced by the signing of Fikayo Tomori who arrived on loan during the January transfer window, with the right to make the transfer permanent for a fee of around €28 million.

Purchasing a new right winger is a priority of the Rossoneri for the summer and Hakim Ziyech is the new name on AC Milan’s radar. The Rossoneri are not at all satisfied with Samu Castillejo’s performances. Saelemaekers alone, conditioned in the recent outings by an injury, cannot be enough.

For a long time Florian Thauvin has been considered the favorite name to join AC Milan. The French star will be available for free in the summer after refusing to renew his contract with Marseille. Nevertheless, despite continuous contacts, an agreement has not been found yet.

Ziyech is a much more complicated option than Thauvin but he’s reportedly a choice of Stefano Pioli. The Italian coach has informed the management that Ziyech has the perfect characteristics for his style of play reports TodoFichajes. The Rossoneri have contacted Chelsea to learn more about the situation of the 27-year-old right winger.

Chelsea spent around 40 million euros for the former Ajax star who has made 19 appearances so far, scoring 2 goals and assisting 4. New Chelsea coach Tuchel does not have a good feeling with Ziyech according to the English media and a summer departure is quite likely.
