AC Milan are preparing a new bid for Fiorentina star winger Federico Chiesa offering Patrick Cutrone in exchange plus cash.
Fiorentina star Federico Chiesa remains high in the wish list of AC Milan sporting director. The Rossoneri have been following the young Italy international for quite some time and are willing to make an important bid to lure him at San Siro.
Chiesa, author of 12 goals and 8 assists in 31 appearances so far, is one of the most in-demand players in Italy. Despite his young age, the 21 year old left winger is already one of the biggest stars of Serie A and he could improve a lot in the future.
In order to put off suitors Fiorentina have raised their asking price for Chiesa to 70 million euros reports La Gazzetta dello Sport. However the Rossoneri remain interested and are studying a new possibility.
According to Sportitalia, AC Milan could offer Patrick Cutrone to Fiorentina in an attempt to lower their asking fee. If the Viola would accept such a proposal then Milan could offer an additional 30 to 40 million to close a deal.
The 21 year old centre forward of AC Milan has seen his game time reduced since the arrival of Piatek. He is coach Gattuso’s second choice in attack. His departure could be a necessary sacrifice to land Federico Chiesa.
