TS: AC Milan make official bids for 2 strikers

AC Milan are looking to strengthen the attack with the signing of French duo Olivier Giroud and Amine Adli.

After having solved the goalkeeper situation with Mike Maignan, and confirming Fikayo Tomori for the defense, the AC Milan management is focused on the attacking department. Paolo Maldini and Massara are working simultaneously on two negotiations.

Tuttosport reports that the Rossoneri club has formulated official offers for Olivier Giroud and Amine Adli. The Chelsea star would be the ideal alternative to Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the centre forward role while the young prospect would be a player for the future.

Giroud accepts Milan: Chelsea’s OK is missing

The Italian newspaper is optimistic about Giroud’s chance of landing in Serie A. The French striker, currently busy in the European Championship with his national team, is tempted by the idea of joining Milan. He will leave Chelsea only for an experience abroad far from the Premier League.

The Rossoneri have offered Giroud a two-year contract of 4 million per season. The 34-year-old has already said yes to Milan but must first find a solution with his club. Giroud and Chelsea have a gentlemen’s agreement that allows the French striker to join a club outside the Premier League for free, despite the recent contract extension.

His agents are in contact with Chelsea to respect the agreement. Everything will be defined in July according to Tuttosport. Meanwhile, Milan are probing other players for the attack, such as the young Austrian striker Sasa Kalajdzic. However, Olivier Giroud remains the only concrete objective of Maldini and club.

Official offer for Amine Adli

AC Milan are also working in parallel on another Frenchman. Amine Adli is a pure talent and was named the best player of the last season in Ligue 2. He plays for Toulouse, a historic club that are forced to sell their gem because his contract expires in one year.

AC Milan have made an official bid for Adli offering 5 million plus 2 million in add-ons. The Rossoneri are awaiting Toulouse‘s answer. AC Milan head scout Geoffrey Moncada is a big admirer of Adli and has indicated the Toulouse starlet as a future star.
